Not every thread delivers what it promises – our test shows why

This year, our engineers once again conducted intensive testing on fittings from leading manufacturers available on the market. The focus was on six suppliers – categories, standards, materials, quality, and design were examined.

💡 The result: The differences in thread lengths are particularly striking. Shorter threads mean less material is used – and therefore lower production costs. But beware: Thread lengths that are too short can pose a safety risk.

Our experience shows that non-standard threaded connections pose a considerable risk of leaks – and in the event of damage, liability under product liability insurance is highly questionable.

That is why we only supply fittings with standard-compliant threads, tested to the highest quality standards.
